Seal your air box cover and snorkle with regular grease or liquid gasket/silicone. (both alow you to take your intake off to clean with no problem, just reapply when you put it back on) This will insure a tight fit with no air leaks keeping out dust, sand, mud, water, ect....
Also, when you put your air filter on, apply the oil fairly generously to where the filter touches the air tube, this will ensure a good seal. Or you can apply some grease there too.
