Apparently I'm doing something wrong. After I installed my 806 cam(new), I can't seem to stop this thing from leaking out of the water pump weep hole. I have tried three different carriers and seals. Each carrier resulted in a different form of leaking. First being Thumper kit with the seals leaking. Would only leak if the bike was shut off. Just a tiny stream. Second carrier, leaked very bad while bike was running and not running, warn and cold. And the third and final one I installed last night. Leaks after the bike is shut off. Its not leaking bad. All the seals are installed correctly in the carrier with the flat surface of the seals facing inward towards each other. I installed the tiny nipple on the cam for the installation so I wouldn't cut the seals. The backing washer is in the correct location. Tiny dot on carrier is in the 12 0'CLOCK position. The only thing I didn't do was use anaerobic sealant. And yea......... I watched Travis's video.
Is that sealant that important? ALso.......... I did read that overfilling this thing will cause it to leak also. Is this true? So, if any of you had this issue and know something I don't,please share the wealth! lol
