I know Precisions are considered to be the best but am personally looking closer at the GPR's because I like the idea of the remote adjuster knob that is mounted on the bars next to your left grip for on-the-fly adjustment. I guess I too am having a difficult time justifying the price ($500 for remote, $450 for regular) because I've never run a stabilizer but everyone says it's a night and day difference. Comments, suggestions?
As for where to buy, I've never seen Precisions discounted except for a few bucks off on eBay. Same goes for GPR but ktm-parts carries those.
I weighed the idea of having the adjustment at touch but I like having the attachment at the closest point of the force which is closest to the tie rods. I got a precision and it is great. I have used it for a couple years and the only bad thing is the linkage gets worn out.
