I wonder if the recall was the reason they raised the price $500 right after that same time period. Seems like it would cost them a good bit of change for even a small recall.

the U.S. dollar fell and therefore it made the cost go up. nothing to do w/ recall

If that's the case, I doubt the price will go back down if the dollar bounces back against the Euro or whatever they base it on.

you couldnt have been more correct... everyone is so quick to raise prices based on the weak exchange rate, but never drop them when the dollar rebounds! this is all cyclical; for instance the dollar goes down, gold goes up... a few years later vice versa, i remember when the euro exchange rate was a joke.

its funny they have a recall part you take your quad in get it fixed for free then go ride the lawers want you to claim its a lemon so you can pay them thousands then take it to the shop and get it fixed for free lol
