After my last race two weeks ago i replaced my broken battery box. I found that it would not keep from blowing fuse #2. Finally figured out that I had mud in my idiot lights that I had taken off the dash taken bulbs out of and zip tied under hood. Fixed that and now I cannot get any spark. I have two 450s and have swapped everything out. After a harness changeout and cdi swap, I actually got it running, and then it, the spark, went away again! Anyone have any ideas? Also changed stator, pickup coil, coil, all tps sensors, I am out of options.

Think Bronson had some similar issues. He'll probably reply soon. Only time I had no spark was when I didn't have any slack in the throttle. Might check that out. Otherwise I'm sure Bronson will get ya straightened out.

if you have been riding in really muddy condictions then check the lhs switch block, muddy gunk can short out the on off switch, we also have had contact problems with the starter push button after a really bad mud bath of an event................. worth looking into.

i know it sound basic but is the kill switch lanyard in, if yes then i would be checking that switch make sure it is working, failing that i would be out with a ohm meter and check continuity of the spark lead, possible some excess moisture could of gotten in somewere and shorted the cable or corroded a joint.

Id chack the sensor on the carb. It could be out of position causeing no spark. I had my carb off and thats what my prob was. Its worth a try.
