And why is it you think maier is junk? All I use is maier and it all holds up perfect.

I don't want to offend you, but it looks cheap and it doesnt hold up worth a damn. I have given Maier three chances and I won't do it anymore. I have tried Maier YFZ, Raptor & LTR plastic; didn't like any of them... Not to mention there customer service is pathetic.

Well mine held up perfect. But I didnt go rolling it over every day. After 5 years of use it still shined like it did the day I got it and had no sag at all. I always wiped it down with WD 40.

Nope wasnt difficult at all. Only 3 bolts hold the light on. To mount the hood you have to drill 2 small holes in the bottom of your plastic to insert the push pins. Those 2 at the bottom and the stock mount up top is all that holds it on. Its solid though. I was suprised with the greyish color I was thinking it would have been more black but its grown on me.

Amen too bad customer service they are unwilling to ship to you if your cc billing is to a p.o. box and not to street address. We had mail stolen so all bills go to p.o.box said couldn't ship to my business address because personal cc has differant address. I will wait on quad tech will be a better hood for sure.

Just got mine. Wish it was a little "Blacker" But it looks very cool, and was very easy to install!

I bought the black hood instead of the carbon look one. It looks great on my 450! It fits really well.
