i knocked my spine out of alignment playing hockey, no sledding or playoffs for me, the team's 18-0 and i did it the the third last game, so much for being in shape to start the race season, im going to have to work my ass off in the spring to get back on the same level, im at the chiropractor's 3 times a week at the moment, and im not allowed to do any of my training excercises. teh took an x-ray and theres an 8 degree bend to the left right between my shoulder blades, U oulled a couple of muscles too.

Back injuries def arent cool. I had an alignment issue and missed a couple races. Just do whatever the doc tells you. I ended up going to a muscle and joint specialist and did some Yoga and Piladis stretches for a couple months. Now im better than b4. Ask your doc about stretching and do a search for Total Motion Release Therapy, see if that helps.

I know your pain. I broke my back 2 years ago fractured L3, L4, broke my tail bone, and lost about 2 sqft of skin.

I was being a dumb azz riding wheelies down the runway at about 65-70 mph on my raptor 700. I went back to far tapped the brake and one tire grabbed and the other slid. This turned the atv sideways and we did cartwheels for 147 feet. I went back and measured the marks. I was very lucky that I walked away, VERY sore might I add. I still do not have 100% mobility in my back. I will see if I still have sum road rash pictures.

man ben that sucks. i still am suffering from my wreck back last summer. i found out in december that i have permanent nerve damage in my back where i torn those two muscles. it isnt really painful anymore just very uncomfortable at time if that makes any sense. i have a very hard time jogging/running at any length as about 24 hours later my back is on fire!

just hang in there and take it easy. make sure that you do all of you exercises and be patient with your recovery, you'll be back before you know it.

you are way to young to be having any type of permanent back issues. hell being only 29 myself, i am too young to be dealing with the back issues i do from my wreck...

good luck my friend!
