I've seen some pic's where people have removed their blob or handlebar mounted starter & light switches. I've been searching for a How To post but haven't found one yet. Has someone done this? I've found posts on other sites that show how to do it on other models but I'm doubting that the jap bikes are the same.

he is talking about the starter button and head light swith on the handle bars. You can get rid of them and use a kill swicth as a starter button. i did it on my yfz but don't know how to do it on my ktm.

Sorry Rocker. I probably didn't explain it correctly. Dans right. I want to add just a starter button and replace the original light switch, run switch & starter button. I did it on my Z & LTR but don't want to just start cutting & splicing wires until someone tells me which ones to cut & put together.

We have a new aluminum plate we will be releasing next week (hopefully) that will solve this problem. Pisses me off that they hide that beautiful stem and bar clamp. Thats some trick stuff!

Im running Flex bars and have no space to mount my powermadd handguards with the map selection switch and everything.

Sorry it is dennis kirk page 930. It only does from years 04 to 06. I didn't notice that part. I'm going to order one and see if it will work. I'll let you know.
