It's so clean it almost looks factory

What’s a guy to do when he loves the KTM 450SX-F powerplant but KTM refuses to re-release a Sport ATV? Well if you’re Daryl Rath, you stuff it inside a Yamaha YFZ450R chassis and build your dream machine yourself. Where most of the great ATV builders of the past have switched completely to UTVs, it’s refreshing to see the team at Rath is sticking to its roots. Now if we could only get a test ride!

Why build an ktm powerplant in an inferior frame? Yamaha free isnt known for its impressive prestations

I've wanted to put one of the new generation KTM 450 FI engines in a quad frame for a long time now. 65-ish hp on pump gas with a pipe and stock motor. Sign me up! I just bought a Husky 450 bike (same motor). I've already threatened to do the transplant if I ever don't like the bike!

Go for it! I've been dreaming about the same thing. Actually I would love to put the new 300 efi 2 stroke in a KTM frame and do it all in white and call it a Husqvarna
