How much does the switch run?
http://www.ktmworld.com/view_single_item.a...r%5Fparts%2Easpno idea, i will find out today.
from what i understand this is a simple plug in switch...
The switch only has two settings, in or out. There is an illustration on the top of the switch showing on/off with the position of button in each mode.My ? Is how do you know with mode your in, say you buddy rides your machine and hits the button a few times you get your machine back not knowing how many times he may have hit the button, how do you know which mode its in?
i put a vortex rocker switch on mine and it has a red h on hot mode side i think that would be easier to see while racing than if the button is in or outMy ? I would like to know this to. No problems like burning the CDI for example?can i turn it off and on on the fly or do i have to stop and turn my bike off and then switch it over?
2 modes are available, just need to know. What is the reason of that?
I have never needed to switch that, just have it in performance all the time.
i agree....What is the reason of that?

Yes I know there's to modes available. But I dont understand why you would want it in "normal" mode?2 modes are available, just need to know.
One eases down the power delivery and the other makes it more explosive. Not always the performance mode is the best. It depends on the traction conditions. But I dont understand why you would want it in "normal" mode?![]()
Yep i know that, it's all in your thumb. But if KTM gives you a chance to change the maps, i want to know if it's safe to change while running.all fun for sure but i'm with Oloof, I always had the vortex on the yamaha in the "kill" setting... slippery conditions..... it's called throttle control.....![]()
