Factory KTM rider Taylor Kiser has made a oversized battery box for the KTM atvs. It uses the GT7B-4 battery. Cost will be 129.00 plus 9.00 shipping anywhere in the USA. This box fit right in place of the old box with no modifications needed. With the increased cranking amps the quad starts faster. thank you for looking Payment will be made by credit card to T and K Cycles at the above phone # berfore item is shipped.

excellent, any pictures available? i can only imagine once you go big bore and high compression how much that little battery will struggle to crank the motor over. add a cold day in the mix and it better start on the first few cranks or you may be out of luck.

Yes I will post pitcures in the next few days. No we are running stock bore and piston. Just need the cranking amps to get off the line and try for the holeshot.
This will be a must have for me, as soon as i buy the bike and install the big bore

Will they send it over to Europe?

With the oversized battery box and battery Taylor was 2nd off the start. He was on Bills bumper the first 11 miles. At the mud hole he made the pass and lead the first 2 laps. Also the battery box is made of steel not Alum as posted.

yes they are one offs for the race team
yes they are one offs for the race team

one-off's are one of the great unspoken benefits that come with being a pro-rider...

for us normal folk, one-off's are easily obtainable; it just takes cash!

I was wondering if this came with the battery? If not can you buy the battery with it? Also can we get a group buy?

Yes we have the batterys in stock. When you say group, How many boxes at a time? Would they all be shipped to one location and you would be reponsable for shipping to each person. You can call me at T and K Cycle 239-728-5001
the Yuasa Battery lists from 159.95 from parts we will sell it for 115.95 + shipping. The Yamaha battery lists for 105.95 + shipping. The Yamaha battery is a sealed battery and the Yuasa you have to add the acid and charge it. Thank you T and K
Do you know how much weight this box & the larger battery will add? I'm doing a TT / Supermoto build and don't want to add much (if any) weight.

which battery is better?
The Yuasa battery is serviceable. when the Yamaha battery is bad you just get another one. So as to which one is better it is owner preferance.

you still have some of these battery boxes?
Guys, will the XC box fit the SX, they badly need a bigger battery in there.

I'd like to look at relocating the battery to infront of the engine as an option since there's no radiator bottle up front , would make shock preload changes alot easier.
