I have a Baldwin head that has not been used since it was taken off and sent to Baldwin to get ported and polished, titanium valve installed. I have the cam that goes with it as well. Any thoughts on what it is worth? Anyone interested. I had bought a core head so when I built my 570. That way I did not have to take it out of service for a couple of months while waiting for the head work to be done like a bunch of people did. Seemed like it was about 2500.00 to have the work done if you did not have a coupon. I am looking for some other parts in my garage. I think there all together. When i find it I will post some pictures.

Very nice brother. What Cam do you have for it? I would have been very interested before I had mine done at CT a few months ago. I would probably ask 2200-2k for it if I was selling it. I know your in it for more especially since bought a core. That’s just my thought though.

Here are some pictures of the head that came off my 2008 450XC. Sent to Baldwin with the coupon and they did the port/polish, 4 titanium valves, a cam, and a head gasket. I had bought a core so i been just saving this. I'm 63 and don't bounce like i used to so going to slowly sell off all my parts. And one of these days my 570 and 2 each 540's. If anyone is interested I would take the best offer over $2000. Text me at 503-932-2893. It is all 4 valves and when Baldwin did the head it was KTM valves and you did not get the choice of how you wanted it. I have a picture of what they wrote on the cam. Maybe someone knows. I think it was a mid level cam. I have it in my 570 with the head and puts out 63 hp. I have let a few on here do a hill climb at Winchester Bay. They came back with a smile. Thanks for looking Rich

I sent them my head, and talked to them firsthand. They do a smr setup pretty much. It's a full port/polish, 8/06 cam, Ti valves, guides are removed and proper guide type to work with the Ti valves. They also unshroud the valves, flows better, lowers compression a touch. Even on a stock 450 bore/comp ratio, it makes a huge difference.
