i've head people removing the backfire screen from the stock twin air filter . Do you just remove the complete thing or keep the framing and trim the screening out?. i'm assuming they just trim it out so the filter still hold well ? or is there an alternative?

thanks in advance

check with twin air for a replacment frame and flame resistant filter. I was keen on the idea but teh SX is very prone to "sneezing" through the carb on hot starts............
