Sorry 2 put this under new topic, but I could not find the forum with the pictures of the guy who welded his head pipe 2 the flange ( or what ever you call it ) Any info would be great.

beware if you weld the pipe you my end up braking it in the long run. The pipe and the motor need to have some flex.

Do you guys think a after market pipe will fix the problem.. What should I do.

Mine's been welded for a while now with no issues.
I'll keep a close eye on it & let you know how it goes.
Having the motor solid mounted & the header on a flexible mounting there should be no trouble.

Just wanted to let you guys know that I just said the hell with it and bought the FMF 4.1 full system over the weekend. So I'm hoping that will take care of leak.

Did it help or fix it completly? Did you use silicon as well? And im thinking about the system do you like the performance it gave you?
Sorry about that. The pipe did fix the problem and I did do the silicon just in case. Love the Looks and sounds but not real sure about the performance on it. I rode my quad with the stock pipe about 3 times, then changed it out with the FMF. So those 3 times was not all out. I'm thinking about sending pipe to driver311 and him text it out to see what the extra hp maybe.

Thanks one of the dyno runs was done with the fmf system and gave 1.2 hp gain. They claim the stock set up is pretty strong the only issue is the back fire. Thats the only problem that I want to fix out of this
