Has anyone removed the rear axle yet? I'm embarassed to say but, I can't figure it out! Typically, you'd loosen the big axle nut (towards rotor - no problem there) and then remove a snap ring. Well, this appears to have a 2 piece collar of sorts and I can't remove it. Any tips? Am I doing it completely wrong? Am I supposed to cut the axle in half and then just tape it up?
EDIT: Figured it out. We were doing it right. It was just a biyotch to tighten (or loosen) the axle nut enough to get that two piece collar out. Allz good!
