If prepareing for a really muddy race. Apply armor all to the underside of your plastics. It actually helps the mud not stick to the plastic.

Last year on my honda, i had so much mud that it snapped the rear fenders. I got new ones and applied armor all every race, and never had a problem again.....

Also, for you guys who do alot of riding in dust and dont have tear-offs. Apply Armor all to your goggle lens with a towel and wipe it off. Then when they get dusty you can wipe it with your sleave or glove and the dirt comes right off.

Good to know. I've always used WD40.

spray silicone also works pretty good, and Toro makes a product to keep grass from sticking on mower decks, it also works good... and there is even something made to keep mud from sticking to quads, i forget what its named, but i have seen it once at local shop, havent seen it since cuz it was lotsa $.

any tire dressing should work tho, black magic... anythin really

note: some products like to slowly eat plastic tho, most will say not for use on plastic.

i was going to mention mudoff. i had a chevy truck that was all built up for mudding...44" swampers, bib block, disk brakes and lockers on both ends...it was common to come home so muddy you couldnt tell what color the truck was. a friend that was on a sprint car crew gave me a bottle of this stuff. we were going to a big mud event on a drained lake bed, so i mixed some up in a garden sprayer and hosed down my truck the night before. i sprayed it again when we go out on the lake bed. people were wondering "what in the hell...?" i said "mud off" they just laughed and said yeah right, whatever. i would go run around in the mud for awhile, come back to where we were parked, and the mud would start falling of in sheets! the hood and roof were covered of course, but the underside and sides, the mud just fell off!! the doubters were soon back, asking "what in the hell.." again!
