Can you post some more info on this & maybe a pic?
What are the 2 settings used for?
the dealer told me that the "detunned" map is so that the quad meets the strict california emissions regulations...

unfortunately i havent got to ride mine enough to figure out if that is true or not...

I pick mine up this afternoon. Still to break it in before playing anyway.
I am just trying to find out as much as possible so I can put a plan in place.
the hot mode is for holeshots and long straight aways and the soft mode is for in tight stuff so you can controll power easier, It does work and for sure you need switch to change on the fly.

It's very hard to find anything here in Australia.

that is correct just unplug the brown wire and plug the switch in easy.

thanks for the confirmation.

maybe if you had the time, you could write up a quick how-to that can be pinned for future reference. pics would be sweet as well...

i ordered it but they were out of stock, so it will be a week or so before i receive it, otherwise i would do it.

thanks again for your contribution!

Underneath the front cover is a small white connector. Unplugged is for the performance map and plugged in is for the de-tuned map. I will get some detailed pictures up ASAP.

does this apply on the 450, lots of plugs and wires under tehe, a picture would be greatly appreciated

clearly the 525 is different than the 450 ????

if you've done it ??, how about a picture to help the rest of damn arses....

the is a black box on the right side of the front of the frame there its the brown and white wire thats connected with a male female conector (its clear and round like a lil tube about 1 inch in length and plugs into each other) just pull it apart and you have race mode plug in the switch then you can toggle between race mode and soft mode and i have no clue what those other plugs are
