KTM make 3 different cams, and hotcvams have a profile.

general concensus is tha hot cams lose to much low end in small engine, ktms 8/06 performance cam seems to be a popular choice.
both 450 and 525 share a common lower end crank, rod etc, only difference is the cylinder and piston
you can bolt up a KTM 540 big bore kit, your choice of cams, bore the carb, use the JD jet kit, get a decent exhaust and hold on.......
Intake: this is the same filter as the bikes so would be interesting to see if there is a K&N option, flow restriction will be the anti backfire mesh screen in the stock element base, could be trimmed out.
