Anybody know what the 450XC HP is compared to the KFX, LTR, YFZ & 450R? It seems more & more tracks/organizations are going to a 450cc rule. Just trying to weigh the pro's & con's of putting a 450 motor in my quad for those races that have a 450cc limit. From what I've seen it's hard to beat the Honda for peak HP.

I'm mostly talking modified vs modified. exhaust, carb bored, ported, HC piston, big valves if needed, etc. etc.

all you would need to do is change the cylinder and piston. my build has a pipe, porting, small cam, carb mods and piston. i'm supposed to be in the mid 50's. if i went big cam and big valves i could see 60+ with 40ft. lbs of torque. right up there with any of the other 450's.

I went with the 540 top end & stroker crank so a top end swap is out of the question for me. I do like the idea of 60+ HP out of the 450 though. But your #'s sound great!
