hey guys writing this from my hospital bed.

had my first race weekend.

saterday went well

day 1 race 1 - 1st
race 2 - 4th
race 3 - 4th

3rd overall for day

sunday

race 1 poor start 3rd last after 1st corner. battle my way to 5th then stall and couldn't start. got her going again and went 7th ish back to 4th. trying to take 2 guys over a tabletop 3 corners from finish and over rotated. smashed my helmet and goggles to shards.

getting surgery this afternoon.

plated and pinned jaw both sides.

Get well soon...sounds like a great start and some good riding...but you can't win them alll...you did your best...with the jaw if you need to get rtid of some extra pounds this would be the time to do it!

i only weigh 137 pounds.

can't really afford to lose any.

btw i f***$$g love racing.

maybe just trying a bit hard i think.

Hope you heal it up quick and easy.

Just remember, you are only given 1 body, and when its broke, its broke. Just be smart.

cheers guys.

i suppose i did get caught up in the moment a bit.

steep learning curves when you jump in like this.

i'll learn from it, and hopefully make me a more mature/accomplished racer.

should wait for the opportunity to pass and not force it.

hey guys, i'm home after 5 days in hospital.

2 operations 1 on hand and 1 on face.

dislocated and broken index finger and 4 other fractures in the hand that have required wires.

the face isn't too bad. 2 titanium plates 1 either side under the gum line. can't even see they are there.

had a look at my bike and its a bit twisted.

i will need some help from anyone willing to lend a hand of some advice for straightening the chasis.
