you asked for it 78mm bllet stroker crank

Stonger than stock, no crank spread under high rpms, uses stock roller bearings, lighter than stock, smaller O.D. than stock means less gyroscpic effect and faster reving, balanced to whatever piston you want to use stock with a 129mm rod or 126 rods are available.

This one came out 100g (4oz) heavier than the ultra lightz we have been doing fully assembled. You can see how we beefed up the rigidity by making it a full circle and adding the outer bracing on the pin side of the crank. The crank is 3mm smaller in diameter than the stock ones which centers the mass of the crank better which makes up for the extra weight. They feel the same as the ultra lights. I am looking into getting the weight down a little more but I don't want to sacrifice strength these cranks are much stronger than the OEM or ultra lights and will not flex like the stock cranks do.

Yes I did but I started it because I was asked by several members to let them know when we had them done. Price is $1700 with the Carrillo rod and ktmatvhg member discount of 10% off making it $1530 for members.

Ouch that seems pretty steep. But I guess its the price you pay to play

A flawless crank might be worth it since the rod is included it is probably $250 for the rod alone . Perfect timing for me to have purchased a KTM 525 !

That crank might be the right piece to the puzzle. Super light short rod would be my choice !

I could use a prox or hot rods rod and drop it another $200 but that would be like putting $5000 worth of rims on a ford esort.

Carillo is owned by CP. Got to be quality race parts. So this would allow it to turn over 10,000 consistently ?

This crank is good to 12k. It was never a rod issue that caused the cranks to fail it was the poor oem crank design.
