    OK, here is the parts list I've been emailing out. You just need to get the pin from Rath Racing and your set.

    Is there somebody who make this conversion?? What is the cost of all parts and where did you get the famous pin?

    I believe the cost is around $400. The pin I believe is for the kickstart lever itself. Rath Racing makes those. Everything else is from KTM. Nobody currently sells a kit.

    Are their any issues with clearances and what not with the kick start on the quads??I have a 525xc, wondering why it cost 400 for this mod, as the 525 dirt bikes came stock woth kick starter, you would think you could just take parts off dirt bike and swap them over

    That price is for new parts mind you. I think the kick lever noted is a littler too long for the KTM ATV's. This was what RATH used on their Outlaws. I never had the chance to find anything better.

    Also, the last two parts on your list are a plug and o-ring. Where do these go? I can not find them on a parts schematic anywhere.

    Call Daryl at 320-234-7223 and see if he still has the program to machine one.

    I believe the plug and o-ring go in the case where the starter was.

    I contacted Rath via facebook and they said no.

    So if you keep your e-start, you don't need the cap and o-ring?

    I just priced all parts on ktmpartshouse.com except for that magical pin. It is just a little over $200 for all new parts.


    I was able to score all of the internal pieces off of ebay for about $50. I just need to order the kick lever and the L-bracket that spring attaches to. Oh and of course find that silly pin.
