    Going from 540cc to 600cc

So I sent my 540XC motor to Thumper to get a 570 kit installed and was given the bad news I need a new crankshaft. Was quoted for a stock replacement crank but instead I'm just gonna go with the stroker crankshaft while I'm at it and make it a 600cc fire breather. Build time should take about 2 weeks. Pretty excited to see what kind of HP/TQ numbers it will make. Hoping for mid-high 60s and, it might be a long shot, maybe even break into the 70s. Anyone know where I can get a dyno tune done in mid-Michigan? May get an AFR sensor later on welded to the header for fine tuning but may not need it, not sure yet. Read about high 60s for HP with the 12.5:1 piston and a stage 4 crank so I'm basing my estimates off of that. Can't wait to tear up the dunes with this thing!

Build sheet will be: 570 Kit, 14:1 Piston, Stage 5 Thumper cam, 43mm carb, stroker crankshaft, ported head for oversized valves, KTM Bill full exhaust

You may have to purchase some of those special straps that lock your hands onto the handlebars, so you can HANG on once you mash it!!!
Sounds like a fun and powerful build. I will stay tuned!!
One day I will ride me some dunes>

I'm honestly not sure. I never had it dyno tuned. I imagine it was in the 50s but no clue.

I've had my 525xc built by CT Racing dyno tuned twice in the last few months on two separate dyno's. First was 60.7 HP and 40.3 TQ on VP 110. Second time was 58.2 HP and 40.1 TQ on VP 100/91 MIX. I would think even on a conservative dyno you would be hovering around the 70 HP & 50 TQ with your mods and a 600 XC.

Let us know what she does after build is complete? Definitely Curious
