Ya im excited to try. Im just not sure how they track. We just have an oval so, go fast turn left lol. Not my ideal racing but it is something to do in the winter. We have some Wisconsin and Michigan state champs that race so its pretty stiff competition.

for oval they are great. but u will definitly need to gear up. i had a custom sprocket made by sidewinder its a 35 rear and i run the 15 front on 18" rears i will still hit rev limit on the straights. depending on the track suspension makes a huge difference. i have used anti -roll bars with mixed results. when the track is smooth it works well but once it gets rough it actually slows u down cause it makes the chassis too rigid, im guessing more tuning would help in this matter. dont know what ur rules for stud sizes are but i would recommend MF-1 or MF-44 ice racing screws.

just re-read ur post. not too sure on the sx's on how the gearing is. i have raced against a guy with a stock 505sx and it was damn fast on the straights not sure what gears he ran though.
