    Brakes- pads worn uneven????

So I went to change my rear brake pads and if your facing the rear of the quad, the right pad is worn down to almost nothing, but the left pad has more than double the meat still on the pad. Is this normal? I've seen brake pads wear a little uneven, ecspecially in the rear but not this excessive. Any feedback is appreciated.

Yeap same here. That because the right part is more exposed to mud, sand etc ...

I'm tempted to put the right pad back in and just replace one pad at a time. Also, To replace the brakes I don't have to take the cover off the resevior right?

guys its not because the outer pad is exposed to dirt its because the caliper is not floating freely on the sliding pins. Take them apart and clean and re-lube them and your next set of pads should wear more even.

Hmmm there is no need to do that. Unless you'll fell less tension on the brake pad.
