Problems with my steering damper...don't know enough about em'!

Hey guys - New to the quads. I have a 08 450xc that came with a ohlins steering damper. The quad was brand new from the dealer and came with the damper (his not so bright mechanics installed it.) Last night I decided to crank it up and go for a spin. I noticed that I can turn left very easily...but I can't hardly turn right. The wheels will turn until they hit the a-arm going left...but only about half way to the right. Can that have to do with the damper? I'm afraid it's not installed properly, but I'm not the most mechanical when it comes to things like this. FYI I have a friend that bought a bike from this dealer that had a damper on it and it was installed all sorts of wrong. Is there settings that won't allow it to turn one direction completely? Help me out if you can! Thanks!!

check your wheel alignment. the tierods may not be adjusted properly, it doesn't sound like a steering damper issue to me but sometimes they do some wierd stuff

The one thing it might be, the dampner is on upside down. The heim joint will then come in contact with the frame. You should be able to read the Ohlins engraved logo on the front, and the heim joints will be on the bottom.
