    anti-roll bar/ sway bar

i am running an anti-roll bar for the first time this year on my quad for ice racing, just wondering how to setup for oval racing, i want to put more pressure on the back tires, i know i have seem bikes with them when cornering hard the inside front tire will lift. i know u shorten or lengthen one side but which is it?

i presume an oval for racing, if so adjust sway bar to put load onto the outside front wheel to resist body roll and breaking traction on the inside rear. It's gonna handle different and my tend to push until you get everything sorted, allot more traction allround when done right (well on the dirt anyways…dunno about ice thats a whole new game…. same principles though)

so when u say put load on the outside tire do u mean shorten the rod from the sway bar to the a-arm? or extend it?

extend it so there is preload from the sway bar into the a arm to resist dive.

when you get i t right, try picking up the inside rear wheel the quad should be quite rigid doesn't dive on the outside front due to the sway bar preload

get 4 scales and put one under each tire so you know how much wieght is on each tire, then adjust and it will help so you know how much cross weight you have and makes it easy if you want to adjust your weight transfer
