    Shorter clutch lever

I have a 2008 525 XC and I'd like to have a shorter clutch lever because the stock one is too long and sometimes my glove gets pinched between the end of the lever and the handguard. I found a replacement that would fit my hydrolic clutch but they dont specify the lever lenght, if it is the same as stock or shorter. Is there short levers?

The one I found : KTM Clutch Lever Flex Lever Replacement - ? KTM Motorcycles

    Thanks

Well...... its kinda hard to get a measurement since the Moose one is installed already, but comparing the stock one next to the Moose one, your looking at the Moose being a 1/2"-3/4" shorter.

Thanks alot! I think I'd like some short ones, more like 1.5" shorter than stock... I'll keep looking.

But......... if you do, let me know. I was looking for the cheapest way to get me some space between my bark busters and clutch lever.

Why wouldn't this lever work? According to the KTM microfiche the parts for the master cylinder say its from the 2003 model year by the description, at least that is how I am reading it. This asv is a replacement lever for 99-04.

It very well might. No idea. But....... I have a 2004 KTM 105SX in the garage Im working on. That clutch lever appears to be even shorter than the Moose shorty lever. The 105SX lever appears to be about 1" shorter than the stock 450/525 XC clutch lever.

I searched on the net like forever and all I found is a clutch/brake kit by Moose and they say its 1" shorter than stock. The clutch lever looks like it should fit but the brake will not. Also the kit is nowhere to be found in stock online at any store...

All the kits I found are a Magura/Brembo combo, but do I have Brembo brakes? My brake lever says Magura, the brake fruid reservoir on the handle is stamped Magura too. Must be Magura brakes?

I can't believe I wont find some shorty levers and will have to cut and grind mine.
