    KTM has a recall on the dampner the mounting bolts are 2 short if you have ohlins dampner contact your dealer

    I noticed the bolts were to short when I installed mine and I just put longer bolts on then.

    when i ordered mine from ktmhutt they told me that the bolts were too short and included 2 extra longer bolts for me to use. they worked great, the go completely through the nuts all the way with 1-2mm to spare...

    When you say the bolts are too short, are you talking about the ones that mount the actual dampner to the chassis or the bolts that join the steering stem to the dampner. I recieved my ohlins dampner yesterday and the chassis bolts have about 2mm clear of the nut but the steering stem bolts dont really look like they are in there all that far, will get some s/s bolts at work and swap them out for longer ones.
