    Checklist for "No spark" issue

Could someone help me list all items that would cause your quad not to produce a spark I'm not speaking of not cranking ,click only, fuel related issues. Specifically when your spark plug will not Spark

    1. Throttle override system TORS
    2. TPS out of range 507 to 800 appr
    3. Bad coil or wire
    4. Bad or improper plug gap
    5. CdI failure?
    6. Low voltage battery

I don't think fuses belong, because it would not even crank.. right?

If you've not got a decent multimeter..... get one, then work through all the tests in the workshop manual. That's how I found my coil.... if anything is out of tolerance, you'll see it straight away. Also do all the checks for earths, loose/broken wires, etc.

Could be a melted end on the coil wire at plug cap connection.... you can snip it back a few mm and reconnect if it is.

As above as quad97 also suggests.... you will need to trace everything from the battery to the plug electrode and in between to diagnose it. The test routines will eliminate sensors and easily measured items.

The rest you will have to chase to find.... take your time, be methodical. You may want to clean up and grease all the earth connections as you go.
