    You can cut the stock swing arm skid plate "cut all the horizontal portions off and leave the vertical portions on it". I have done this on my quad and it seems to work.

    we took the stock guard off and fabricated this using a walsh chain slider.

    I am going to try a Texteria sprocket guard and cut the factory skid. I will try to keep the current chain guard. I will gain some clearence space but not much. I really need a jb rotor guard to save a ton. HELP!!!!

    $50 for sprocket guard(hardware included) $75 for rotor guard + shipping. These are made from 1/4" steel ARE NOT LIGHTWEIGHT. I run half of a chain guide. I will post some pics of my guide set-up this evening.
