Every time i deal with these people i am blown away by how they take time
for there customers. I bought a new husqvarna sm510r in 09 and it did not
run right no matter what you did. They tried to fix it but it was something weird
like misaligned cases or something.It vibrated badly. Anyway he took the bike
back even though husqvarna was hesitant about replacing the bike. He did not have another
bike to give me and they were out of 09 supermotos in the factory. So Don at L&d Racetech
offered me a full refund out of his own pocket or would get me a brand new 2010 510
smr. I opted for the new bike. When it came in he delivered it to me 50 miles away and
asked for nothing! Man if you ever need a ktm,husqvarna,hyosong,artic cat or parts for
any kind of motorcycle,give him a call, seriously! I just bought a new 450xc from motosports hillsboro
and had a warrentee problem with a leaky fuel tank on a quad that i have not even ridden
yet and they treated me like a dumbass when i finally got to talk to someone. I waited 25 minutes
on hold, then the guy acted like he never heard of the problem and that they wanted the whole quad
and maybe they could send off the tank and see if they would replace it and did not know how long
it would take! He said he called ktm and that is what they wanted me to do. Well i called L&d and
mentioned it to Don and he said that ktm was replacing the tanks that leak due to safety reasons.
So he called ktm and a new tank is already in the mail and will be here in 2-3 days. Hillsboro may
sell the most bikes but they need to learn alot in the customer service dept! I wont be back. Rant over

My local dealer sucks ass. They can't get me a new tank but the guys in Dallas can. I think dealers are lazy. Actionmotorsports been good about changing tanks.

Yes i agree my local dealer knows very little. at least on the quad end. I asked them about the tank and they didn't think ktm was replacing them. I called actionmotorsportsktm and they said that ktm was replacing them and that i had to take it up with my local dealer since they were in texas and i am in iowa.. but anyway i am just keeping my tank for now because i cant get ahold of ktm north america. our times clash...

man, you guys have some shady dealers. KTM emails all their dealers with warranty issues, the fact that they hadnt heard of it means they really don't care about their customers! that recall has been going on since 09!

yea its bad. i also called them about getting a radiator overflow tank for the sx and they told me to contact ktm myself becasue they knew nothing about it.
