    i actually found a full crank assembly with full gasket kit and crank bearing for 850$ all oem new stuff

    and I already have piston kit so its almost a full rebuilt i guess

    The problem with the oem crank and rod is the rod bearing.It does not last.I would buy the crank bearings,pro x rod/bearing kit and have falicon do the crank rebuild true and balance.It will cost around $500 for parts and labor and will last longer than the oem assembly.

    yes as 997 said it is the ktm lower rod bearing that is the issue. The cage has sharp edges and eats away at the crank pin. Mine was on the way out after 50hrs. If you put an OEM crank in that you will be doing this again within 50hrs or so. The more difficult but cheaper option is the best bet here. I'm sure kiwi did a write up about this a while back.

    I just order a full crank assembly, crank bearing and gasket kit... I got a piston kit here that i bought last week and I might bought new oil pump! after that the bike should be alright for a while! hopefully
