Best place to order 450sx parts? Hoping for some advice.

I love my ktm but the price of parts for these bikes scare me to the point were I'm thinking of getting something else. Can anyone direct me to a good place to order parts for my 450sx at a reasonable price? I have low hours on current engine build but if I run it all year I will have to rebuild. What engine components do you usually replace on a normal yearly rebuild at say 40 hour etc?
    Thanks in advance, Shaun

you want to change a piston at 40 hrs, you can also do rod (with bearing) and crank bearings.

alot of people are finding the pro-x rod more durable than the stock one (stock one has lower bearing issues)

Thanks for all the advice guys. So how long does the crank itself last? And how many hours are you guys getting out of the cylinders? These parts seem very expensive and i have not seen any aftermarket options for them.
    Thanks,Shaun

Varies to hell, rods have gone as early as 30 odd hrs, others still good after 100 plus.

The stock big end bearing is not great, the prox pin and bearing is superior and guys are seeing good service life from these.

top ends, more like 50 plus hrs on the stock piston to 100hrs.

Regular oil chnages are critical for these engines, and use high quality oil, and service the airfilter religiously.

see the thread on the 6 important things to do to your SX to get maximum life from your engine.

cylinders can be recoated for $200 odd.
