I have been waiting the washer like 1 month and a half from ktmcyclehutt.com...
Can I use another washer or the ktm washer has something special?

Does the Honda clutch plate mod work in the XC engines? My stock ones are slipping a little so Im guessing they are getting gunked up.

So are stock ones my only option? Or is there any better aftermarket sets that you know of?

I think he has an xc so the Honda's are out the question. I'm sure there are options from tusk and ebc.

Yeah, I have an XC. Let me explain the problem.

It dosent always do it but its getting worse. When Im stopped on flat ground or a slight incline, as Im letting the clutch out, it seems to slip just a little and then jerk a little and then it grabs and takes off fine from there. And sometimes it will also make this high pitched squeeling noise before it grabs. But I havent noticed anything unusual when Im riding.

Does this sound like the plates are going bad or something else? Thanks for the help.

    3/ CLUTCH SPRINGS

add a replacement set of HD clutch springs (for the KTM 450 - 505 SX-F dirtbikes)

Pro-X part number SPRING KIT 17.CS64042

can't find the Pro_X, check with EBC or Barnett they do uprated spring kits also

    EBC part no 15-17136

the stock springs are on the whimpy side, I've experienced clutch slip / delay until the clutch bites in, in the higher gears in hi traction situations. With the stock frictions this peels off strands of ultra fine clutch fibre that then builds up around the oil pump intake screen, looks like sodden cotton wool !! all the more reason to ditch the KTM frictions as per 2 above whilst your in there.

Anyone know where I can find these spring kits? I checked both rocky mounton mc and motosport outlet and neither have those part # when I type it in the search.
