    2012 race quad teaser

    Heres a early release pic of my race quad this year. Gotta get Nerf n exhaust still, and the front end will be black not white..

    Looks a lil dark because of the lighting, its actually a bit brighter red.

    Looks good. What color Red did you go with? I'm in the process of a rebuild myself. I just can't decide on a color combo.

    I was trying to get a real nice flat red, almost like an anodized red. Its a lil off from what I actually wanted but oh well. He used a super mirror red with a flat clearcoat. Only about a week after I had it PC'd I figured out how to actually get the color I was going for while searching the net, oh well...
    Btw the fenders were originally white and I had them dipped at Unique Hydro Graphics - Get Dipped!!! Your one stop shop for Custom HydroGraphics to make you truely UNIQUE!! with a red Marble and Duratouch topcoat(like on shotguns) to get a flat look on my plastic..

    that does look pretty sick! Im also interested in what it costed to have the plastics dipped. lets see some more pics and give us the details on the build.
    New dune build in progress: Thumper racing 570 with 13.5:1 CP piston, DJH big valve head with kibblewhite valves and springs, DJH 44mm fcr, Thumper racing stage 6 cam, Slingshot clutch lockout with EBC springs,EHS airbox vent, FCI intake and HMF exhaust.

    He has a price list on his site and page for all hispatterns. Its 200-300 dollars to a quad dipped,and depends on how much you get dipped and what sort of design you go with.I was about in the middle, but he helped me out a bit since I raced and will be sponsored by him. Tell him Paul with the red marble ktm sent you and im sure he will work with you as much as he can.Eric can also dip darn near anything, helmets, handlebars,guns, bows,etc. Ill be sure to post more pics as I finish my build.

    This is awesome. Ive always wanted my KTM to be red. Is it like a coating or a dye that soaks in? Durability?

    Its a coating. They patterns are mostly black, but he can lay it over whatever color you want. I havent had hydrographics before on a race quad so Im not real sure on that, but I have seen quite a few dipped quads and they seem to hold up better than you might think.
