The Calsonic Arena in Shelbyville,TN. has an Indoor MX every year . 14 years ago there was a new pro kid named "Joe Byrd"... he put on a show ! He even won the jumping contest . He was very skinny and friendly in those days . www.victory-sports.com I believe Jan 22 & 23....They have toned down the jumps due to various incidents in previous years . There won"t be anything you can"t jump on a quad . Be there early in the morning 8:00 A.M. because they ride all day until 2-3 the next morning , Fri. & Sat.
Bad link for the arenacross schedule. IF Im back together I may consider going to some, how tight are the tracks? I have a tendency to get tied up with other quads/wreck in indoor tracks if they are farely tight and I cant afford to break anything right now.
Mods, I'm still having code trouble. I could not get the video to show up in the box, tried using [ youtube ] and [ / youtube ] ????? Anyone know anything about this????
I believe that there is an indoor event in DuQuoin (sp?) coming up towards the end of February. I believe it is the 20'th but I am having a difficult time looking it up...
Ya there is, I usually race the series but I had to do a rebuild this year. Murray is today and next week then the last one is Du Quion on the 20th. Mid America Arenacross
Ill be there either way, racing or just watching my friends race. Im trying my hardest to get my sx back together so I can at least get one race in before nationals.
I have been waiting for 2 weeks to get a arms for my Outlaw from Lonestar... I bought them off of ebay and the seller wasn't able to provide a tracking number  ... I have bought from him in the past so I am not concerned, just don't want to rush at the last minute to get things put back together to race. If I have to, I will put all the stock components back on to make the race. I am really getting cabin fever here with all this wintry crap continuing to plague the midwest...
If I wasnt in Fl I would be at DQ fa sho, i only live about 10 minutes away from there haha and its the best AX of the whole series, always a great track
Im really looking foward to going.. It won't quit snowing here so there isn't much of a chance of getting some track time.. I don't want to ride when the temps are cold and the tracks haven't been groomed since last fall. I am meeting up with a member on here that has a SX 505. I have an Outlaw 450 MXR that has some mods done to it, but am trying to get a SX 450 before the end of the year. Hope to see some more from this site there. Enjoy the weather in Florida too by the way.
What number are you and what class? I guess I will see you and Staakej there saturday. Looks like I wont be racing, long story but I had to send a few parts back because they sent me the wrong ones! Should have the sx back together next week which will be just in time to not catch any of the arenacross races.
I will be #508 on a Red Outlaw.. Couldn't afford a KTM at the time, but I at least got a XC motor... I don't know what class I will be running as I have never ran arenacross before. I will probably ride whatever Staake runs for time reasons as we are riding together. Look me up if you make it there. I believe that we will be there fairly early on Sat.
Good to meet you and Staake at DQ. The weather was great and the track looked great, and it was just a good day of racing altogether. I was suprised to see that XC racing there, and a girl racing it on top of that. 3 Girls racing 450s that day, couldnt believe that, one of them was pretty dang good too, lol.
Maybe next time we will have a better showing... I felt like absolute garbage and rode even worse than I felt. The track was great and the guys put on a great show. The atmosphere was really great and everyone there was friendly to boot. You will have to make the drive down around our area. We have a few good tracks to ride and several really great places for trail riding. Hopefully we will be able to meet up again when the weather gets nice, if it ever does.
