    sx is in a class of it's own once modded............ my 608 whilst having mega torque, was not anywhere as much "fun", the SX on song is something else........

    so the 608 is now getting a heart transplant to get more rev......... and better response, more ferrari, less diesel truck........

    Sounds good Craig,whet are you doing to get it to rev quicker and higher? Cam,lighter internals?

    Thanks! Amazing how much power they can put to the ground.

    So a 12.5/1 piston wouldnt be too much compression for a once a year rebuild say 30-50 hrs? What type of fuel would need to be ran with it?

    i have a 13:1 piston in my yfz and i run 113 octane. Ive had a lot ppl tell me i could run a lower octane in it though.

    12.5 is stock compression and min 95 octane. Yes that SHOULD be fine for around 40 HD mark.

    Right on! Thanks for all the input! Have made up my mind. Its either gonna be a 505 or 250r, which ever comes along first at the right price.
